Puerh - Lisosad
It is generally accepted that pu-erh tea is an adult tea for adults. That it is complex, shrouded in legends and mysteries. And that this tea is not for everyone.
Either way, this drink is worth trying.
Yunnan Province is a place of power, all Chinese Pu-erh teas are produced here. Near the plantations in southern China, there are thousands of tea manufactories that produce aged pu-erhs according to the classical technology. Dozens of varieties differ in the color of the infusion and tea leaves, shades of taste and aroma, quality and packaging.
The landscapes of Yunnan province are simply insane - steep mountains up to 5 km high, overgrown with tropical forests, emerald gentle slopes, reminiscent of the Carpathian mountain valleys. It is not surprising that in such a fantastically beautiful place, Chinese pu-erh turns out to be incredibly tasty.
The tea plantations of Yunnan are the state property of the People's Republic of China. Just like the vineyards in the Cognac region of France. The boundaries of the province are clearly marked, and if the tea factory is located 100 meters outside of Yunnan, the pu-erh is not certified. Of course, you can buy such pu-erh in Ukraine, but it will not be a real collection product that tea connoisseurs hunt for.
The healing properties of puerh, which are legendary
In China, it is believed that Shu Puer tea, despite its strong fermentation, is a real source of vitamins and minerals that:
- contribute to weight loss;
- normalize metabolism;
- are strong antioxidants;
- strengthen and invigorate the body;
- stimulate the brain.
There are even more benefits in Shen Pu-erh; in addition to the listed functions, they contain guanine, and this is a powerful antidepressant.
In the Celestial Empire, most residents take care of their health: they eat right, play sports and drink tea every day. Maybe that's why the Chinese are one of the healthiest nations on the planet and with a low mortality rate: 6.8% per 1000 people. For comparison, the mortality rate in Ukraine is 16.4% (according to the UN, 2010).
