Batul. Imported variety from Transylvania. Batul can be grown in all climatic zones. The variety is valued for its yield, undemanding to growing conditions, frost resistance, good fruit taste and long-term storage. The variety has a fat skin, a straw-yellow color with a faint blush, a sweet-sour taste.

Fruits of medium size. The fruit is taller than it is wide. The fruit is spherical and elongated. Ribbing of the fruit is absent or very weak. Roughness and irregularities at the end of the fruit cup are absent or very weak. Calyx closed, small. Sepals are short. The peduncle is short. There is no or very little oiliness of the skin, there is no wax coating. The main color of the fruit is green, the color of the blush is reddish. The part of the surface covered with blush is absent or small. The intensity of the blush is weak. Rust near the calyx, peduncle, on the surface of the fruit is absent or very weak. Lentils are absent on the fruit. The color of the flesh of the fruit is white.
