Chinese tea is known for the fact that it can and should be brewed many times. This cannot be done in an ordinary teapot, but a tea infuser such as Isipot copes with the task easily. Just pour hot water and press the button. And so several times, until you feel that the tea is drunk.

Sama Doyo is a Chinese teapot for brewing tea using the traditional pouring method. Teapots are not steamed with boiling water, but washed, floating freely and for a short time in hot water, as if you were brewing them in a haiwan. This is the basic concept of making Chinese teas.

For comparison, if you use an ordinary teapot, French press or cup, the drink will be heavy, highly concentrated and tasteless. Tea "cooks" in hot water and starts to become bitter. Better not do that.


How is the isopod arranged?

The infuser for Chinese tea - the Isipot - is an ultra-easy-to-use, but complex design. In the upper part there is a special flask with a strainer, where tea is brewed. You pour a portion of any Chinese tea or ordinary herbal tea into it (we always indicate the amount for one brew on the package) and pour hot water. Then lower the lid and wait a couple of seconds or minutes (depending on the type of tea).

After the tea has brewed, press the drain button on top of the infuser, which opens the valve at the bottom of the glass. The infusion is poured into a glass teapot. The valve is protected by a micro mesh, so even the smallest tea leaves will not get into your tea, but will remain in the brewing glass.

The brewing glass is removable, which simplifies the process of washing the kettle. In Sama Doyo teapots, it is made of food-grade plastic. Also, the glass (aka the infuser) is firmly fixed in the neck of the isipot, so it does not need to be held while pouring tea into cups.

The lid fits securely and tightly. Even if you accidentally overturn the kettle with the infuser, the liquid will not spill.

If you are planning to enjoy tea or to experience Zen alone, we suggest you buy a 350 ml teapot. This is the most compact infuser for tea, the price is also minimal. For meetings over aromatic tea in the family circle, it is better to buy a tea kettle with a volume of up to 800 ml. For a large company of tea connoisseurs, a mega volume is needed - Chinese teapots of 900-1100 ml. Teapot: Welcome to the family

Let's assume that the decision to buy a kettle-infuser has already been made. Do you know how to prepare a new device for the first tea party? We tell:

  • pour boiling water into the teapot and let it settle;
  • drain the water, add half a teaspoon of brew and fill with boiling water again;
  • wait a couple of minutes and drain the water again, remove the teapots. This is not tea yet, but only the preparation of dishes.

Now the kettle for brewing tea is completely ready, it does not smell like new dishes, it does not have any extraneous odors. You can use a Chinese teapot for brewing for its intended purpose: to prepare loose-leaf tea by the pouring method, as is customary in the Celestial Empire.
